Caught right across the road! |
Extra wide aggregate paved roads, all new campsites - excellent for both RV and tent campers. All new water system, all new equipment, including tables, BBQs, new fire rings, bear boxes, tent pads and more.
Located eight miles west of Woodfords, California off Hwy 88, on Blue Lakes Road, Hope Valley Campground has 21 sites - 2 sites are tent only, the remainder can accommodate whatever you have!
The west fork of the Carson River is directly across the street and a great spot for the kids. The river is stocked right here nearly every week in the summer and the fishing fantastic! In addition to all new tables, fire pits, work tables, etc., the campground has been completely renovated with new, wide roads; double sites and easy access for RVs and trailers. It is still tent friendly, with great tent pads in every site.
Hope Valley is minutes from Blue Lakes, Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley, Grover Hot Springs and Turtle Rock, the start of the annual Death Ride in Markleeville, California.
